Why I made this

I know I'm going to die, hopefully not for a long while. When I think about it, what I mind most is all the good things I'll miss: the discoveries, the places people will go, what they'll become.

So I made a future to visit.

I love reading about advances in science. But I can also see how much pain people cause each other, and the many ways we might wipe ourselves out. This site is my version of a plausible but hopeful picture of what humanity might achieve over the next five centuries. It isn't a world without conflict, but it's one where we keep finding our way through.
